This Cam and gear fits most Kenmore, Whirlpool, GE, Northstar, Morton and other water softeners. It has several different part #’s depending on the age and model of your system including #’s 7284964, 7113927, 7066439 and WS2610003.

This part is 2-1/4″ across. This part is NOT interchangeable with the cam for the larger 1″ control valves which are 2-5/8″

Use this cam if your motor has been slipping on the old cam and has worn the teeth on the gear. Be sure that the rotor and disc can turn and are not bound up, causing the cam and motor to slip on each other! If the rotor is bound up it may need to be replaced along with the seal kit, so that the cam can turn freely.

This plastic cam gear fits many standard control valves on the NorthStar, GE, Kenmore, Whirlpool, Morton and EcoWater water softeners.

This gear is plastic and will ONLY work with the motor with plastic gear teeth, and only works on the standard sized control valve and NOT the larger high flow controls. See images to confirm fit on your unit.
