This Fleck 5600 Piston and interior parts rebuild kit contains the most commonly replaced internal parts on the Fleck 5600 water softener.. Typically as these parts age and wear, it is recommended that they be replaced together as a kit.

Lubricant is needed on the seals, piston and o-rings to properly replace these parts.
It is recommended that this entire kit be replaced if the main piston assembly is binding up or it is becoming hard to turn the “regeneration dial”. The kit is also recommended if there is a leak from the piston assembly.
The kit can typically be replaced using just a standard flat screwdriver in about 30 minutes or less.
